Was it a flying saucer ?

It happens that some thoughts suddenly creep up for

no reason at all. It maybe some incident that happened

several years ago . It can also be some mishap that came

your way - without any warning- which upsets you and

give you no rest - until it's resolved.

 I would like to relate such an incident that occurred long

time back. I was around 10 years of age and very fond of

my brother who was a year or two elder. The bond between

us was so strong that it was quite impossible for us to stay

away from each other even for few minutes.

It was around 1955 /1956 when we went to Galudih ( now

in  Jharkhand) to spend a month. Our exams were over and

hence our father decided to send the family there.  Just before

the Cottage House -  where we stayed-there was a hillock which

we used to call Nekre Pahar.

We two brothers often  went  up to the top to get a clear view of

the surroundings. We specially liked to see a pond just beside the

hillock. 

Once we saw a big round machine drawing water through a pipe !

It was around 25/30 feet above the pond and around 50/60 feet in

diameter. The water in the pond seemed to go topsy-turvy for no

reason at all. Since we were quite immature we took it for some

sort of big pumping machine. Even in that age we were qurious

to find such a big machine extremely soundless.

Bhoju who was our domestic help yelled from the Cottage ground

to come down immediately. Mother and our Pishima were quite

furious as it was getting dark. Only a few days ago Bhoju brought

two tiger cubs from that same hillock and their mother was within

the visinity.
