We often see women smoking openly in public.Nowadays  it is quite a common sight and most of us have accepted the change. A recent event that happened near a pan shop on Manewada Cement Road in Nagpur (India) however is unacceptable . A 24 year old woman named Jayashree Pandhare , along with two of  her friends ,were found smoking. Ranjit Rathod (28) , a father of four, made a mistake by staring at Jayshree who was the smoker. She lost her calm and began taunting Rathod. An altercation began between the two. Pandhare lost her patience and repeatedly stabbed the poor man. The nearby CCTV recorded the entire event. Police are trying to find out the murderer , who along with other two friends, are absconding.

Finally we are seeing cross species organ transplantations. Till now heart transplantation with pig's heart seemed to have failed. Two persons  who received pig's heart were unable to succeed the transplantation. On one patient the immune system rejected the transplanted heart. Recent report about a man named Richard Slayman ( 62 years old) whose kidney was transplanted, however , is showing good result. He is producing urine, balancing the body's fluid, removing waste product from the blood etc. His doctor at Massachusetts General Hospital seems quite hopeful to see the results.

I was around 27 years old when I first started the Basant Utsav along with my friends. I was very interested in music and took my first lesson in Rabindra Sangeet from my cousin brother. We have a strange feeling when we come face to face with people who are no more. Here ,specially, I am talking about the  artists who left us. Yet they have left behind a strong legacy for us to follow. Cooks are highly regarded in our society. It is a known fact that they can easily grab our attention by serving us tasty foods. It so happened that two customers named Tajeem Shamsi and Mayanak Rastogi ordered kebab at a restaurant. Nasir Ahmed the cook prepared the ordered food and served. According to the customers, who were drunk ,the food was tasteless. They had an argument with the cook and the final outcome was that Rastogi lost his patience. He took out his father's licensed gun and shot the cook. Unfortunately the cook died. A Bareilly court sentenced both of them to jail for life imprisonment.

Senior citizens have become the easy targets of the cyber crooks. Interstate gangs have become very active in duping them at the drop of a hat. Delhi, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka as well as Bengal.Four were arrested from Asansol and Jharkhand on this Thursday.
