It is a past era about which very few are aware or interested.Yet the walks organised by various organizatiozs shows that history conscious men & women are not only interested but are quite passionate to know in details about the goneby era.Those who worked for the zamindars too were men of steal and seldom betrayed their masters. The old photo of a bawarchi named Dhanmanya was a very favorite cook of a zamindar in Beadon Street.Ojha, Kalpana, Ambika,Jagadish were the caretakers of the Thakurbari while Sanaatan was the head priest whose son Shyamsundar too sometime looked after Pujas.
