5 Monkey Heads !

The Police along with Chrime Branch and Forest Officers

recovered 12Kgs of monkey meat. It was near Sonapur 

Gauhati. Apart from that they also recovered 5 monkey 

heads, 2 rifles and 11 bullets.

They arrested 2 shikaris (poachers) who were responsible

for such a chrime. They came down from Garo hills and

built their hut over  paddy field to carry out such poaching!

   

    One wonders where they supply the meat and who their

customers are ! Though Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland's

jungle areas are believed to be carrying on with such habits.
