20 years single-handedly.
Keisuke Oka was 39 when he began to construct a distinctive four storey Arimaston Building. He completed it when he was 59 ,thus giving away 20 years of his life.Strangely -he did the entire job single-handedly, using his own hands. His building is compared to the animated, Studio Ghibli film "Howl's Moving Castle." While growing up he felt Japan's buildings, in cities and towns, looked sad and devoid of life. Hence, after discussing with few friends, he started the building in 2005. He believes that we should start making things at a slower pace.
