A Christmas Carol's Scrooge.

 'A Christmas Carol' is a famous novel written by Charles Dickens.There is a character in the said novel named Ebenezer Scrooge who turned from a bad into a good man overnight.He dreamt of ghosts who finally influenced his later life.

A property used in the 1984

movie,based on that novel, was kept at Shrewsbury as a fictional grave of Scrooge.It became a tourist attraction. 

However the popular stone is somehow destroyed.

The town clerk Helen Ball said that they are discussing steps to be taken either to fix or replace it.
