North Kolkata Calling !!

A very important question-since land has been sold and resold by using various unfair means! The problem is equally important for Sarkari lands! Just try to find the real owner and you will have to go through histories-yet unexposed by ...... ???? Hence one wonders if a Land Bank could at all be created !!

This famous temple was built by Rani Rashmoni when she was about to go to Kashi. She had a vision and immediately there after decided to built up this temple at North Calcutta. Around 20 acre of land was purchased from John Hastie .The temple was completed and Goddess Kali was installed in the year 1855.

If such a question is asked - what will the citizens of India answer ? Especially if he or she holds a key position -where he or she becomes an important decision maker ? In fact the future of India would practically depend upon this particular question !!!!

Is it true that Chatu Babu (Ashutosh Deb)was the first Bengali Sitar wadak ? Did he get his lessons from Raza Khan-whose name is also associated with the origin of sitar. In fact there is a gat which still exists in his name-known as Razakhani Gat !!

Ramdulal or Ramdoolal De was the first Bengali who dared to extend relation with many foreign countries more than 230 years ago. In fact he is known as the Pioneer in Indo- American Trade Relation.American Trader's were so impressed with him that at one point they depended upon him entirely. The effect was that Ramdulal always took special care to see that they reaped enough profits..Shocked by his death,the East India Marine Society at Salem made special arrangements to mourn his death.
