Basanta Utsav over 50 Years!

I was around 27 years old when I first started the Basant Utsav along with my friends. I was very interested in music and took my first lesson in Rabindra Sangeet from my cousin brother. He usually organised Tagore's dance drama  such as Shyama, Tasher Desh etc. I also took my lesson in Indian Classical Music from a descendant of Jadu Bhatta.

          Yes those two cubs were very very dear to us. Dalai Lama to live over 130 years.

Jiroemon Kimura is known as the oldest man in the world. The Guinness World record for this : He lived for 116 years. At present the oldest living man is from Brazil. He is 112 years 273 days old.  Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama ,however, wishes to live over 130 years.He himself said that he hope to live for another 30 to 40 years.He is 90 years old at present.
