Lady Pilot saves plane

It had 191 passengers on board and Captain Monika Khanna was the Piloit. It  was a flight from Patna to Delhi. 
Unfortunately after the take off from Patna it was hit by a bird. This led to sparks & fire in one of the Engines. The cabin crew immediately reported and the Pilot's quick reaction saved  the situation. 
Pilot Khanna swiftly switched off the effected engine. Took plane through the crowded passage and halted it in a safe zone-thereby saving the lives of the passengers as well as the crew.

In fact the very name drew us towards it. Dum Maaro Dum was the name. We casually ordered Biryani knowing it to resemble Kolkata's taste.  We were simply bowled out to find the Biryani's taste as excellent as Kolkata. In fact better in some aspects both in quality and quantity.  At last.. at last.. at last The Kolkata Biryani in Hyderabad! They guaranteed that their Hyderabadi Biryani too is good.  Yes we will find it out the next Sunday.

Tara Bhora Akasher Niche. By Srijato !

We usually used to go to bangalore every year to our son.  It was in such a visit -we found our son and daughter-in -law pretty busy with music rehearsal. There were other young guys  too and they looked quite serious.My wife ,of course, got busy cooking some tasty snacks for them.On enquiring we were informed that they would be participating at  BoiTHEK by Ananda Publisher and hence the rehearsal. Finally they participated , enjoyed and came back with 1424 Sharodia Anandabazar Patrika.  It was from that Patrika that I came along Tara Bhora Akasher  Niche by Srijato. Today I finished it and found it quite abstract and interesting . A sort of dreaming experience- I should say !! .
