Worse than Titanic ?

Some Newspapers preferred to recall the horror of

the Titanic -while reporting the sinking of the barge

P-305. The barge after battling with heavy wind and

tidal waves went out of control. The cyclone Tauktae

completely overpowered the barge -drifted it towards

the Arabia Sea off Mumbai coast. It finally sank along

with 273 people who were on board ! According to the

Navy official 186 among were rescued- while dead bodies

were seen floating in the water !!

My wife and myself usually spend around five/six months in Hyderabad.Our son, along with his family, has been staying there for quite some time.  We sometime taste the renowned Hyderabadi Biryani. In fact the very name drew us towards it. Dum Maaro Dum was the name. We casually ordered Biryani knowing it to resemble Kolkata's taste.  We were simply bowled out to find the Biryani's taste as excellent as Kolkata. In fact better in some aspects both in quality and quantity.  At last.. at last.. at last The Kolkata Biryani in Hyderabad! They guaranteed that their Hyderabadi Biryani too is good.  Yes we will find it out the next Sunday.

Tara Bhora Akasher Niche. By Srijato !

We usually used to go to bangalore every year to our son.  It was in such a visit -we found our son and daughter-in -law pretty busy with music rehearsal. There were other young guys  too and they looked quite serious.My wife ,of course, got busy cooking some tasty snacks for them.On enquiring we were informed that they would be participating at  BoiTHEK by Ananda Publisher and hence the rehearsal. Finally they participated , enjoyed and came back with 1424 Sharodia Anandabazar Patrika.  It was from that Patrika that I came along Tara Bhora Akasher  Niche by Srijato. Today I finished it and found it quite abstract and interesting . A sort of dreaming experience- I should say !! .
