North Kolkata Calling !!

Although cock fights are banned in India for a long time yet it is still held in some remote areas. Recently it so happened in a rural fair in Jaugram's  Jaleshwrtala - that a 31 year old man,named Sunil Baskey, was sitting with his rooster to participate in  the cock fight. A competitor' cock, with blade attached in its leg, jump upon Sunil. He was severely wounded by the blade of the cock and bled profusely. When taken to  hospital he was declared dead. No complaint was launched in the police station and hence it went  unnoticed.

Sorry -it is not Rajnikanth the famous film actor of South India. It is Dolly chaiwala who is a die hard fan of Rajinikanth. It so happened that Bill Gates was in India  and a chaiwala impressed him very much. His technique for making a cup of tea was unique. Bill gates was so impressed that he created at 27 second reel with Dolly and uploaded it. He expresses himself with his opinion that in India there are many innovative ideas.This can be seen even in the preparation of tea. Both Gates and Dolly's fans were overwhelmed.

Arpita Nandi, a Table Tennis player from Bengal, after winning the finals of DGQA Inter Zonal Table Tennis Tournament at Icchapur Ordinance Factory, felt uncomfortable and collapsed. She was only 32 years old. When taken to hospital she was declared dead !

I have seen him only once in my life yet how remarkably he still exists in my mind. I was around 30 when I first saw him. It was the first and unfortunately the very last time that I ever met him-at least so I thought! He looked like any other, a very ordinary man with shabby dress and long hairs. Senior citizens have become the easy targets of the cyber crooks. Interstate gangs have become very active in duping them at the drop of a hat. Delhi, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka as well as Bengal.Four were arrested from Asansol and Jharkhand on this Thursday. Although police are keeping a close watch on such crimes yet there seems to be no stopping!
