There was a time when my friend Sohan Lal Sharma brought a young man to my house. It was already around 10pm and I was about to retire.In fact we used to have a lot of music addas at our house and various artists & friends used to come. Particularly that day -I was tired and wanted to go to bed as soon as possible. But my friend insisted -" You please listen to this young man." I unwillingly resigned. Within few minutes I was stunned ! It was the first time that I heard Ravindra Jain. His compositions brought tears in my eyes-in fact I was very very impressed. Later -we met several times ! In fact I became an ardent fan of his ! Rest of the story- I mean his work and fame in Music Industry-is known to all !!
