Daksineshwar Kali Temple !
This famous temple was built by Rani Rashmoni when she was about to go to Kashi. She had a vision and immediately there after decided to built up this temple at North Calcutta. Around 20 acre of land was purchased from John Hastie .The temple was completed and Goddess Kali was installed in the year 1855.
