Python coils around a lady's leg.

A Thai lady was busy preparing evening meal for the family. Suddenly she experienced a sharp pain in her thigh. On looking down she found a huge python around her leg. The 16 foot python coiled itself around her thigh and was trying to pull her down to the ground. She screamed aloud which attracted a neighbour who came to the rescue. Finding the situation beyond his control he ran and called the authorities. Finally the police along with the animal control officers arrived. They immediately went into action by hitting at the snake's head with a crowbar. Unable to bear the pain the snake released it's grip on the lady. The 64 year Bangkok lady named Arom, spent about 2 hours to get herself freed from its painful grip.

Extraordinary dedication.

A doctor and his aid showed extraordinary dedication towards their sense of duty.The river in Odisha (India) was flooded dangerously and there was no other ways to cross it. Undaunted by the challenge before them ,the govt doctor Darli and his assistant Pujari took the risk by swimming across the river to attend patients.They not only attended around a dozen patients but distributed medicines among them.

World crying for Justice!

"We want justice..We want justice..We want justice." The entire world is crying for justice in the ghastly RG Kar Rape And Murder case. Canada, America, Mexico, Poland, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, Ireland, Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Nigeria, Jambia, Tanzania, Singapore, Australia, Newzealand, Japan, Taiwan and other countries are involved in the angry protest. More than 130 cities too are crying for Justice! Hopefully Supreme Court of India will do that Justice in its verdict!!

The mysterious Grandfather Clock!

From my childhood I have been watching the Big Clock.Later it was shifted near the 2nd landing of our staircase.I was probably a young man of 24 when the Grandfather Clock was replaced in its present freestanding spot. Well to come back to what I was saying, the GFC had always created a strange feeling within me.Its low and deep sound of chiming always seemed to wisper something strange into my ears!Both hands of the GFC sometimes resembled as two big eyes, following me in my every steps. Later in life it somehow scared as well as helped me in several ways. Whether it really happened or it was a kind of hallucination I still couldn't believe - but it did happen. Oldest crocodile in world!

He is at present 123 years old and is considered as the oldest crocodile in the world. He has been named Henry by the famous hunter Sir Henry Neumann.Worried by the blood thirsty crocodile,the tribe invited Sir Henry to kill it.In the meanwhile the croc targetted children and has become a ferocious killer. The hunter was, however, impressed by the size and its terrifying teeth and massive frame.He finally captured and decided to send him to Crockworld Conservation Centre in Scotburg,South Africa.

Wild animals as food.

Food crisis in Nambia has led the country to butcher 723 wild animals.Around 83 elephants too are included in the execution.Even zebras,hippos,impalas are in the list.The main aim is to provide food as well as to avoid encounters. The country is facing its worst drought in a century,Around 1.4 millions people are in danger of going without food. Namibia's Ministery of Environment, Forestry and Tourism was compelled to take such a cruel decision!
