Rabindranath Tagore Crematorium !
The Nimtala Burning Ghat was finally established around 1826.
Cremation took place at the bank of Ganges even before.
On 7th August 1941 Rabindranath Tagore was cremated in
this particular ghat. There is a memorial compound which was
renovated and beautified in 2010.
