Jhulan Yatra also known as Swing Festival occurs during the month of Sravan . Lord Krishna and Radha enjoys each other's company while taking a ride in a Swing. In Calcutta or Kolkata this celebration takes place at ' Chatu Babu Latu Babu's Thakurbari ' 67E Beadon Street. The Tradition here is being maintained for many years.This will be the229th year. Various programmes will be held from 31st July till 5th August from 7 or 7.30 pm. Note : Year 2011 Jhulan at Chatu Babu Latu Babu's Thakurbari begins from 9th August & ends on 13th August.
